Wiz Khalifa added a unique element to the Pittsburgh Pirates' game when he threw the first pitch while under the influence of mushrooms. Prior to the game against the Cleveland Guardians, the 35-year-old rapper hinted on Twitter that he would be "stoned AF" while taking the pitcher's mound at PNC Park.

"Finna get stoned af and throw this first pitch at the Pirates game," he tweeted.

Later, he tweeted again, providing more details about the experience: "Shroomed out throwin a baseball is crazy."

Surprisingly, despite being high, a video posted to Twitter revealed that he did manage to get the ball over the plate. The incident drew comparisons to a historical moment when Pirates pitcher Dock Ellis famously threw a no-hitter while high on LSD back in 1970. According to Sports Illustrated, it was "the first and only no-hitter of Ellis' career."

Recently, Khalifa has been recovering from a pelvis injury, sharing glimpses of his journey on social media. In some videos, he can be seen wearing kinesiology tape on his back and walking slowly with the help of two canes. He expressed determination to bounce back, stating, "Small rip in the cartilage of my pelvis but I’ll be right back."

As his recovery progresses, Khalifa has been actively engaging in mixed martial arts training, which he first pursued after getting defeated multiple times by his cousins who practice jiu-jitsu and stand-up fighting. The rapper's journey towards regaining his strength and mobility has been inspiring, with tweets revealing both the challenges and improvements he has faced.

In conclusion, Wiz Khalifa's participation in the Pirates game while high on mushrooms added an unexpected twist to the event, generating discussions about his recovery journey and dedication to an active lifestyle.
